I am swapping the old drive shaft out of my old blown lower unit to my new one that I am going to install. The new one has a 25 inch shaft and the engine requires a 20 inch shaft. The person I brought the engine from told me he could pull the drive shafts and switch them for me for around 70 dollars but I would have to drive an hour and a half. I would like any info anyone has on doing this at home?
