It's time to replace the transom on my '87 Trophy Pro, there are cracks at the corners of the engine cut out. When I bought the boat in '07 I knew the transom had moisture in it, but it was worth it for the price I paid. The boat's been sitting for the past few years because I lost my job and I'm finally at a point where I can start putting some money in the boat. Along with the transom, I'm going to rewire the boat, I need to repair or replace the trim pump on one of the engines, and replace the trim tabs. Do you think $10K would cover it? I hesitate to take the boat into a shop for an estimate because there's no shops close to me that work on boats of this size, and I would have to pull it 2.5 hours one way to Wilmington or somewhere else on the Southern NC Coast.
