So I bit the bullet and ordered the new Evolution Helm chair from Pompanette for my 2007 Marlin. The base of the old one cracked and it will not tighten so it spins. I could not see a way to repair it. I had already repaired the plastic under the cushions a couple times. Actually fixed both helm and companion chairs. I will use the usable parts on the helm chair to spiffy up the companion chair. Oh by the by, Pompanette is really proud of that new Evolution chair $$$$!
