Just bought a 1996 Islander w/ twin johnson oceanrunner 150s. have had the engines gone over, carbs rebuilt, etc. Now focused on the freshwater system. Found water line to sink in bathroom disconnected, and used that to flush tank w/ bleach etc. Recoonnected that line and tried to pressurize the rest of the system - with no luck. No water to kitchen sink, but can hear water draining into the bilge.

Does anyone know where i would find other water lines disconnected or perhaps a valve that is open?

Thanks in advance !

Don't know the 268 at all, but you can get the schematics (plumbing, electrical, rigging tubes) on line from Grady. Hopefully this link will help you:

I would pull the inspection plates and listen carefully with the freshwater pump running, you'll hear the leaks. You may also want to shine your flashlight in the bilge and aim your camera (cell phone) in the direction of the leak. It could be as simple as the water heater drain valve being open or not closing all the way.
