Bought my 228 in late july of 09' and love it to death!! Since ive bought it ive installed a 45 gallon offshore bait tank, the aux fuel tank, a simrad auto pilot, a tuna tower, and 3 more rocket launchers on the hardtop. God I love this boat!! Just wanted to introduce my boat to the site... Thanks for reading!

Create an account at photobucket.com (free) and upload images to that account. Click on an image, then at the bottom left click IMG Code and it will automatically copy it. Then come here and paste the link into the text box and it should post. GL

Hey strikezone how did you put my pics up?? Thanks!
If you open your link in photobucket there will be an area below and to the left of your image that says "Share this image". If you cut and paste the entry on the IMG line into your posting the photo should appear. You will have to do this for each of your photographs.

Congrats on the boat. I have a 228 as well. Just curious, where did you install the auxillary fuel tank and how big is it? I am also curious about your desire to add a second livewell to the boat as well? Enjoy her :D and slay some fish.....

Thanks for the comments and thanks again strikzone, I will need to work on that! In reference to your question Bob mine comes with the standard 92 gallon tank and the aux. is 56 gallon, I think? Not sure if they changed from 07' to 08' but my aux. sits below deck directly in front of the orignal tank. I thought about converting the space into a tuna hold but went with the aux. tank, its nice to know I have extra fuel if ever needed. The livewell it comes with is ok for maybe a quarter scoop of sardines at best. My 45 gall. holds 2 scoops and seems to keep my bait alive all day when offshore. Hope that helps Bob.

Mine came with a 125 gallon tank, no mention of auxillery anywhere. My primary use is cruising with fishing when I can offshore. Although we will be Chaleston this year a lot more. We will also be in fla for a few weeks too. I wonder if in 08 they just installed big tanks? Have a great time on her this summer.
