started the day off before sunrise on the celtic/cape race wreck over in CT,nothing but bergals,moved to 2 other wrecks in 75 and 90 feet of water,barren. switched over to flounder around 11:00 a.m. with lloyd harbor being the first drop,chummed,pounded the bottom,nothing! moved to duck island harbor and repeated the process only to pull up 1,thank god it was a keeper.finished up the day at my favorite flounder [and striper]spot, the power plant intakes just accross from the boat ramp in northport,got 4 nice flounder in an hour and i was done. everyone drives their boat right over this spot on their way out and in to the ramp but nobody ever fishes it, i guess i just let the cat out of the bag.water temps should be up in the low 50's by next weekend,hopefully the tog will start moving in.tight lines.
