Ocean City MD, Inlet and more. Good Morning everyone wishing all well and safe, hopefully we can get back to boating here soon in Maryland and other parts in the country. So a little back story 4 years ago our family moved up from a pontoon boat to a 2002 Sailfish BIG JUMP and we love this boat. We have had some pontoon boats, a small bow rider many years ago but this by far is the largest boat. I have been too OC all my life and have been out of the inlet in larger boats. We do Ocean City Maryland for most of August, as we have gone out into the Ocean for some fishing I am finding the OC inlet especially in the afternoon to be very dangerous at times, and maybe I just don’t know the best way to run this boat. I would say most time in August the tides are running out in the afternoon, probably have a breeze and of course the big fishing boats are coming in. While approaching the inlet maybe half mile out and the entrance it is very snotty. I thought with the purchase of this boat it would do better or handle better. Don’t get me wrong the boat is great maybe it’s just the way I am running the inlet, to slow to fast, tabs down tabs up, looking for some help with this specific boat, it does have dual 200 HPDI that also run great. Any help or thoughts would be appreciated.
