Other options than carpet in my cabin?

I have a 1990 gulfstream and have been doing some cosmetic improvements. The cabin is in need of a facelift. I redid the wood already but the original cabin carpet is stained,mildewy and ugly. It seems that carpet on the walls and ceiling of the cabin is an unnecessary source for dirt and mildew. I took out the old carpet and there is rough fiberglass sheets underneath. Anybody got an idea?

I remember seeing an episode of Shipshape TV a while ago where they were using a product that looked like teak and holly but it was a sheet that came in a roll(i think its rubber)looked very nice and easy to install.
