The this comes up over and over again. It probably should be a sticky.
On iOS Photos it will be similar to this, but it may vary by iOS version
You can get away with Large instead of Medium.
You can turn off location and captions if you don't want to share that.
If someone can post Android instructions here that would be great.
This has to be done for each photo.
It is done BEFORE you pick the photo.
