Last September i blew the port engine off the coast of Delaware. Spent the winter rebuilding her. Had cylinder #5 bored .020" over. Installed new rings in all the cylinders. Spent the weekend at Indian River Marinia boat worked flawless. Short video of the boat back in action again

You did all the work yourself? How did that go for you?

Yes it felt good. I did all the work myself except i sent the block out to be bored and had the other clyinders honed to clean them up.Between the machine work and parts i have around 500 bucks in that engine. Got lucky that the block and crank was still reusable. I work at a chevy dealer so doing mechanical work isn't a problem. Plus i also have the yamaha service manual for my engines which greatly helped.
