problem with Yamaha 9.9 kicker

Just installed a new carburetor . 9.9 4 stroke Idle is not rough but engine speed is unstable..rpm hunts up and down and wont settle at steady idle..
Any ideas how to proceed ??
 
Call or e-mail Andy at SIM. His number is above in the SIM ad. I have the same kicker and he told me that if you let the engine sit for awhile the you will need to change the filter or you will have problems like you have. Call him or e-mail him and he will walk you thru it.
 
It we are just talking fuel filter that I can handle.. But what is SIM :-)
