Prop question

I was wondering what Prop size to go with on my 240 offshore, with a 1996 200 hp Johnson, I have been running a 15x15, but it turns too many RPM's it might be right for a fully loaded down boat, just not sure. I have a 14.25 X 19 also. Just wondering what you guys think. Thanks in advance.

What RPM is it at WOT now?

It is showing about 6100 on the tach, so I've been backing the throttle down to 5500 or so,

Call Max at Bay Propeller in Chesapeake, VA. 757-485-5681. I just asked him for a recommendation for a 4 blade, he nailed it right away. Very honest reputable outfit, will deal with again. More than a few guys on this forum will vouch for Max. I noticed you're from NC, so he'd probably be able to get it to you overnight at standard shipping rates.

Try 15 x 17, Thats what was on my 24 Explorer with the original Johnson 225 on thb bracket.
