Having trouble removing prop.

The nut and washer came off no problem.

Should the prop just slide off now?
Does the second washer have to come off first?
How much pressure do I need to put on the prop?
Any tricks I should know.

That means it hasn't been off often enough and greased. Once a year they say...

Hydraulic steering cylinder mounts too.

Certainly agree about the greasing.

Hint: Remove the cotter pin and loosen the locking nut several turns, but do not remove it. Then try to pull the prop off. If it moves, then you can continue with removing the nut. If not, then free it up while the nut is still in place. This keeps the prop from flying off suddenly, perhaps taking the thrust washer with it, which might then fall. Not too bad over land, but not so good over water.
