Went down to my new Marlin 300 over the weekend to have some fun on the last day of summer and found my bow rail bent over to one side.
Some lousy sailbote hit it and took off to his home port and denies everything.

Don't know how much the damage is going to cost and I am thinking of filling a report with the New Jersey State Police if that might help.

Has anybody here ever try to get a replacement rail section over the pulpit from Grady White?
I made a call to Summers Point but have not heard anything back yet.
I am wondering if they also sub that work out to somebody else.
If not, I am going to have to find somebody who can fabricate a new rail section.

I replaced the pulpet rail on my GW sailfish several years ago. I got the replacement from Sommers Point when Kieth and Kathy were still there. Call again and talk to Rob Sabastion ( my spelling of his last name is probably wrong) the head of the shop. They can get you the part, but like everything "boating" it isn't cheap. Why not notify your insurance co. also. You could also talk to Chris, the GM, and Rob's brother
