Hi,
I'm trying to remove the fresh water tank from my Trophy25. It is under
the seat and blocked in. Has anyone ever pulled one of these out? Any
hints apprecaited. I'm thinking I will have to cut the floor to get access.

I'm trying to replace the hoses on the bottom of the cooler and and the
bottom of the bait well. These are almost 30 years old so I want to replace
both the hose and the scupper on the side of the boat. Both are
impossible to easily access. Again, I thinking that I will have to cut
a hole to get the necessary access. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated.

thanks,

John - I replaced the fish box drain on my Kingfish (sailfish with an I/O that year) and can tell you how I got there but I am not familiar with your Trophy interior. I just know it is different than mine. Do you have a storage area under the helm seat to Starboard or access to the side of the fishbox area to Port? If so I may be able to explain a possible way in there. I did not worry about the water tank hoses but did feel I needed to replace that drain as the thru hull is at the water line. I have a quarter beth on the port side and went in that way. What year is your Trophy?

Hi Jeff,
thanks for the reply.
It's a 1983, 25' trophy.

I'll try to get a few pics this weekend.

The fresh water tank is on the port side.
You get access to the fresh water tank by removing a
small cabinet of drawers (about 18" high) that is under
the port seat. With the cabinet removed you can see
the tank but can't remove it because I believe it has
some blocking on the top which you can detect with a
bar, but can't reach.

It's probably easier to get some pics which I'll try to do this weekend.

It also seems impossible to get access to the drains on the side of the boat
that come from the cooler on the port side and the live well on the
starbord side. I don't think that there is an option other than cutting
a hole big enough to get my arm through.

regards,
john
