Has anyone had the pleasure of replacing the starboard side thru hulls on a 1986 GW Sailfish 255? How is this done? If I have to cut in an access, where does it have to be?
I can see the hoses beneath the helm by taking by off a panel in the head but the fittings cant be seen. No way I can fit into this area beneath the helm. I'll have to have that done by someone else if that's the case.
These thru hulls must be changed as I'm sure the water showing up below the deck of this compartment is from one of the two plastic thru hulls. I also think this water should be draining into the forward bilge but not sure on that. Its not much water but its still a leak and she's on a mooring.
Any thoughts would be great.
