Hi all,

As mentioned in the thread below, I need to replace the lines/hoses from my tank's pickup tube to the fuel filter, and from the filter to the outboard. Any advice on purchasing a set? Should I order directly from GW, or are there other options? And am I being naive in thinking that this should be a fairly simple DIY job?

Thanks!

You can buy it by the foot at just about any decent marine store. I'm sure online, as well. I highly doubt there is a "kit" available on something like this - a Grady dealer will likely just cut if for you from their big roll of fuel line on the back shelf. Make sure you get alcohol rated fuel line. If any portion of the line will see daylight, make sure you get the stuff rated for UV exposure. It's usually silver in color and sometimes labelled as "OB" line - however you don't need "OB" line for anything that is below decks. Trident and Shield are two good manufacturer's - I'm sure there's info on their website, too.

As always, this is just what I needed. Will post again if any other questions come up.
