looking to repower our 99 marlin 300 which has ox66 250's. i know i have seen yamaha 250 fourstrokes on marlins which have been repowered, so i dont think the weight of that would be a big deal. has anyone put 300 fourstrokes though, the weight difference is quite a bit and i didnt know if it was possible or not, any insight about anything to do with repower would be greatly appreciated! thanks in advance, Bryan

The Op is asking about 300 HP 4 strokes.

How many are on the market?

The Jenny Craig (before) overweight derated F350s (F300) will sink the boat, he doesn't have many options - the Suzie 4 stroke 300 is the only properly weighed 300 and fits same hole pattern on transom.

I have no idea why anyone would buy an F300.

Is there an 300 Hp Verado?

I've seen 300 HPDIs on the Marlin.

Yamaha's flagship motor for many years.
