This morning my wife and I departed our house in Poquoson around 0800hrs on our jet ski and went across the bay to New Point Comfort. I dropped her off at the beach with a bag, beach chair, book and umbrella. I then ran over to the Baltimore Channel of the Chesapeake Bay and cast live eels from bouy 31 down to no. 18 and back.
No luck on the cobia today but it was really nice and glassy conditions and the water clarity was great. I saw my friend Rob on his rigged up jet ski that he purchased from my brother, he said fishing was slow for him as well. I picked my wife back up and headed home around noon, getting there just as it started to lightly rain. I covered 55 miles and burned 12 gallons.
Here are some pictures from today. The one of the bald eagles is from my front yard, this was the first time I was able to get Mom, Dad and the Juvenile Baldy all together for a family portrait.
