We decieded to try our luck at halibut, so the cover came off the boat and our we went
The swells were pretty good sized at 4'to 6' and the sun turned to cold fog but the wind stayed down so it was fishable. Lily and Tommy opted to stay warm and dry in the cockpit
after rigging the rods for halibut we dragged dead squid all around the area of the mile bouy.
After not catching anything but a couple small rockcod we moved to a rocky reef to pull in dinner before heading home. Dave landed a nice olive and I got a gopher. Hopefully the butts will be biting tommorrow!
