I've been searching for a custom boat cover for my 208. Most sites are offering a Taylor Made custom cover (Hot Shot fabric) for approx $350. Savvyshopper.com is offering the same cover (same part number) for $270. All sites (including Savvy) offer free shipping. Most sites offer free tie down straps, Savvy does not.

Has anyone used Savvy before? I've never heard of them prior to doing this search, and an $80 price difference makes me a bit skeptical. However, Taylor Made has a link to Savvy as an authorized dealer, so now I'm slightly less skeptical. Is the old axiom "if it seems too good to be true. . ." true in this case?

I think I'm going the custom cover route this winter. I've heard all of the pros & cons, but the boat will be parked in my yard and I'm not planning any vacations this winter so I think I should be able to keep the snow off of it. The price is only about $60-100 more than shrinkwrap here in Mass (depending on which site I buy from).
