Sheen and smells rich

F250 3.3L
when idling, i get a sheen by the engines and it smells like an engine is running rich. no sheen of smell with engines off. exhaust mid sections are good (checked yearly, and this was first run of the year). my first guess is an overly ambitious injector thats just spraying a bit heavy. any other ideas? i may just keep an eye on it and do all the injectors in the off season.

It may be running rich.... but it may be a leak or overflow from VST. Take the cover off and look around.

If its that rich you would maybe find a wet spark plug.

following up on this. Skunk was right. it was an over flowing VST. i ended up getting both VSTs rebuilt over the summer.
