This 2000 Grady White 265 Express was transported from Florida to California in 2004. A new trailer was purchased and I had the boat professionally shipped out. The boat has mainly been stored on the trailer next to my house or at a slip for a few days. The boat has not been in the water longer than a week.

Below are a few items I’ve added to the boat since acquiring it:

-Trailer – New hubs, rotors, and removed the surge break, and installed electronic over hydraulic braking system. New tires (E-rated) purchased in 2021 with only a few hundred road miles on them currently.

-New eisenglass installed. 60g Polycarbonate for the front windshield and 60g Strata-Glass for the side windows, open back. Protective covers for each window are included and I keep them on when I trailer.

-New Lowrance Elite-7 fish finder installed

-New Fusion radio, speakers, and Sirius satellite radio

-New float switches and pumps for each bilge

The difference in engine house can be explained easily. When I purchased the boat the port motor had a tick and at some point, I knew I would need to repower or rebuild. I broke the engine down to find the root cause, a wrist pin bearing failed on one of the heads. I decided to fully rebuild the motor myself. Zero tickets and the engines run very smoothly.

-Large Sea-Breeze Bean bag

-Cushions for each seat (cabin cushions for bed)

-20 Round crab pots and 10 square crab pots

-Two spare tires

-Trailer kit (everything needed for a breakdown included grease and assembled wheel hubs

-Fenders

-Dock lines

-Custom filet/bait table (installed in the stern door rod holders)

Have a Seafarer 228 with Strataglass enclosures. Would like to switch at least front panels to Polycarbonate to get better visibility. Would like to find out how you made the top, bottom and side connections with the polycarbonate.
Thasks,
Bob
