I am sure this is going to offend some of you fishing purists.
I intend to use my 232 Grady mainly as a sandbar vessel, cruiser, and family fun boat. I know blasphemy but I need to satisfy all aboard.
I am installing a Fusion RA210 unit. I want to run 2x 6.5" speakers on the head unit. I will also power 4x 8" speakers via a 1000 Watt amplifier, and two tower speakers and subwoofer via another 500 Watt amplifier. This will be my first installation of a system and I wonder if you could check my work/thinking.
My understanding is that I would run a 1 Gauge fused wire from the house battery under the helm, from there I would use a distribution block to go down to 4 Gauge wire to power each amplifier. Is this correct or overkill? I do not want to burn my boat down and want to install this as safe as possible.
