starboard cockpit vinyl side cushion

Hi all - Just purchased a cherry 1999 Marlin 300. Only blemish is that there is a tear in the vinyl side cushion on the starboard side.

My question how to take it off the boat so I can have a local boat seamstress fix it.

Any pointers/recommendations welcome!
