Stern seats back rest question

Hey Y'all:
For those of you who have any Grady with an attached stern seat back, how do you remove said cushion? I would like to remove mine and repair a failing seem and or replace them?

I felt around and did not feel any snaps. I may have to call you on this one.
 
They are a very poor design. At least on my 2008 GW. There are 2 screws in addition to the pair of hangers. The screws are not accessible. It appears that they were put in from the rear before the cap was installed.

Grady told me to just pull them out and use only the hangers. I just pulled straight up, which ripped out the screws as the cushions lifted off the hangers. The back rests have stayed in place just fine using just the hangers. This arrangement also lets me remove the cushions easily when I detail the boat.
