I am installing stratoglass on my 209 Fisherman and am trying to find out the location to put the clip for the tall panels. GW factory is closed all week so no help there. These should be the same as all GW center consoles.

Anyone have a center console with tall windows panels and if so are the clips installed on top of gunnel or the sides or one of each?

I don't have that model but what about putting the cleat on the side of the gunnel? I don't like putting it on the top.

Just put them wherever it makes sense for you - there's no magical place to put them so don't overthink this one

Adding onto the above - take into account where the straps will be when opened and where the eye will be when the bikini isn't being used. Again, this is what works best for YOU - not Grady nor anyone else.

Would you prefer rear legs instead of straps? Rear legs allows the bimini to stay upright when collapsed.

If you have some sort of helm cover, the location of the brackets (pad eyes) should be taken into consideration. On my previous 208, I had the eye rings on the top but that interfered with my cover so I added a second set on the side. If you choose the locations carefully, you can minimize the need to have to readjust the hold-down strap length when switching between the top and side rings

Thanks everyone. It’s completed.

Based on your first pic, it seemed like you had a bimini top?

Just curious, why are those straps being used instead of something simple like turn snaps?

But... looks good!
