Just purchased 2000 27' sailfish and having problems with FF. I was told to replace tranducer first see if its that before replacing furuno 582. The transducer is a plastic retractable, flush mounted with speed and temp. What's confusing me is the ducer is perpindicular to water, another words its lever not mounted on dead rise?? so an angle ducer I assume would not work. Is this the tranducer flats? and what type of ff and ducer should I be looking at? I fish generally is water less than 100' First post any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Mike
