I have a 1994 28' Marlin with twin 250 yamaha's. Can anyone tell me how to adjust throttle cables. I recently had issues and removed the power head. When I got the power head back I didn't realize the oil pump lever was bent and wouldn't allow the throttle to move forward. While trying to figure out what the problem was I was pushing the the throttle. I must of threw it out of whack or bent it. Now I don't get the rpms at full throttle or in reverse. It actually feels like the cable is out of whack if that makes sense. When I compare the lever on the carbs the problematic one doesn't move to the same position as the other one when the throttle is opened wide in reverse or forward. Definitely a noticeable difference between the two.
Any one have any ideas how to check for this or adjust this or will I need an entirely new cable?
