through hull transducer

Putting a through hull low profile transducer in my 272 between the transducer mounting area and bottom center. Is there any structural components I should be concerned with before drilling in that area?

As I recall, the bottom is all glass except for the stinger system. Stay away from that and you should be fine. You could always shoot GW Cust Service an email and check to be absolutely sure....
