The new 4.2L Yamahas don't have the female hose threads on the dipstick tube like previous engines had. So I fashioned this little rig to make it easy to connect my oil-change pump with the male threaded hose end. Click the thumbs for larger images.

Soft tubing with 1/2" inside diamter fits nicely over the oil dipstick tube. I used a short length of 5/8" I.D. tubing to connect to a female threaded hose end. Fits snuggly over the dipstick tube but still slides off easily when you're done.
