Trailering a boat to Florida

I keep my 255 in the northeast but am considering a three or month sublet in South Florida (Boca Raton area this winter). Has anybody arranged to ship their Grady from the northeast to Florida for the winter on a flatbed, and then back again in the spring, or is the cost prohibitive? I am not interested in trailering the boat down and back myself.:hmm

For a couple years I've been contemplating the same thing. My research found that these guys were the cheapest, and their pre-sales service has been excellent. I have not yet shipped a boat with them.

In 2008, I shipped a 28 Release from Baltimore to the Tampa Bay area. Boat weighed about 8500 #'s and has a 9'-6" beam. The cost was about $2200 and from load to unload, was only 2 days. Hope this helps.
