I ended up re-sealing the transom bang plate and the two plastic pieces on the top of the water well. The more you look at the design you just have to question "why would they ever do it this way?"
I'm ready to splash so I can't get into it now. In the fall I'm going:
- Remove the engines removed.
- Fuel lines from tank valve to engines.
- New rigging tubes.
- Remove bang plate and plastic pieces above. Decide what to do - glass over or ?
- Replace the brass tubes.
- Re-install engines.
I hope they come up with a new method for the transom liner to hull joint.
