asarcione, I have a sailfish, not a fisherman, but be careful about adding a bracket to a non-bracketed boat......the additional load and torque on the transom may cause you a problem, ie a crack or worse....most bracketed boats from the factory have reenforced stringers and knees where the transom meets the stringer...even a widthwise member sometimes.....I would call QW directly and speak to the about adding a bracket to your model boat. And your scuppers will sit lower in the water to boot...
PS...did you get out in the North Shore this weekend? Sunday and Monday were great sailing days off of Marblehead...
