Trim Switch

My throtte lever mounted trim switch is malfunctioning.
When trimming up the stb motor moves but not the port.
On down they both move.
Individual switches on the binnacle operate trim normally.
Any tips on a quick fix?

These switches have a rep for going bad and you should probably check the wire connections under the helm and if they are good, just go to boats.net and order a new switch. I am having a similar issue but my prob is the switch on the port motor cowling. Many points of possible failure - individual switches on binnacle, dual switch on binnacle handle and individual switches on the motors. What year is the boat?

I had the same problem a couple year ago. Take the switch apart and clean the contacts.
