Hello Great Grady! I am the new owner of an 08 Canyon 336 with twin 350Yam's with over 1000 hours on them that run very well. We do mostly bottom fishing and I began looking at helm master and similar systems ranging up to $40k so I could do more than run the boat for my buddies... a friend of mine showed me a video of a 33' Freeman Cat boat that had a Rhodan Trolling motor on it with GPS capability.

has anyone considered or tried this with a 336 or any of these grady's with the high bow's? I know It would look funny, but if it would work and save me $30k, and also allow me to fish when we get to the spot, id jump on it.

any opinions would be appreciated!

I too do a lot of bottom fishing in NC and I observed a 29ftCC Sea Hunt deploy one a few weeks ago. I thought to myself how cool it would make things lots easier but when u figure in cost of the unit, batteries, and install. "That's a lot of money".
