I have a 2021 228 that is set to ship tomorrow to the dealership. One of the options they are offering, just like a car dealership would, is a Vantage protection sealant. Supposedly you don't need to wax the boat for five years. The cost is $1600 and they do the interior and the exterior of the boat including the cushions. I don't usually go for the extras but, wondering if anybody has any experience with this product. Thank you in advance

Thank You Fish. I always clean my boat and figure it's just an upsell. Just curious if anyone has had a good experience with it. I will go for the 3 year extended Yamaha warranty per the advice of the mechanic that services my old 2 stroke
