West Coast Grady Club

Wahzoo,

I checked my curreent edition of "Anchorline", the Grady White Owners' newsletter and there was no mention of a San Diego GW club. You might want to contact GW directly and also ask to be on their owners' mailing list.

West Coast

I'm in the northwest. Vancouver, Canada to be exact and I haven't heard of any Grady Clubs around. Strange because they're perfect salmon fishing boats.

It is not Me JIMBO, trust me

It is the weak dealer that decided SKI boats are better!!!!
I know its not you, why do we have to have a dealer anyway? Forget the dealer.

If we need Capstan we are scr#$@d

I don't understand Capstan at all. It seems they only want to sell new boats for cash.

You phone for parts and they: a) won't have it b) have no interest in getting it for you c) won't tell you where to get it d) encourage you to just go away because you're interupting their nap or something.

If you ask if they'll take your boat intrade they say "maybe but it would be better if you sold yours first".

I am trying to get the boys at Central Valley Marine to start one up for the bay area or Nor-Cal. Since they are the only dealer here. West coast maybe too broad an area, that's why I am trying the Nor-Cal thing first. Maybe we can join forces and have a big get together halfway. CVM puts on a derby up here every year, it used to be a salmon derby, now I think it's catch what you can. I am new to the site so this is my first post.

I guess never mind about CVM trying to do anything for it's customers. Posting up here would be good with it's own thread or something, like you said before.

update... this is what I got today after inquiring about the club with GW.

Good morning! Steve Camp forwarded your email to me for response. I am
working with Central Valley to help them get a Grady Club started. Although
we don’t have a time frame right now, they are very interested in getting
one going. Would you share with us what types of activities you are hoping
the club would do?

Thank you,
Shelley
