Hey guys, does anyone know off hand what model Jabsco (manual) pump is used to the toilet? Im having some repairs finished on my recently bought boat (compliments of my local GW dealer destroying my lower unit trying to get the water pump off).....but thats a WHOLE other story.

Anyway, I remember the head pump is no good, will pump from toilet to tank, but wont provide new supply water (I checked all the valve line ups, even tried to prime it manually, found VERY weak suction on the inlet side, I see there are replacement pumps available for cheaper than rebuild kits and want to just go that route for speed and simplicity.

Trying to line up some repair parts prior to the boats return (hopefully, this dealer is really dragging a$$ trying to make this right) and I dont have access to the boat to get the model #.

Anyone have any leads on good deals on replacement latches too? Im guessing the ones I have are the SeaChoice 2inch plastic, numerous are cracked and Id like to replace with SS.

Thanks!!

Mine is under wraps for a few more weeks - can't help with part # but Grady customer service should be able to? As for the pump, you might find it just a lot easier and not much more expensive to just change the entire toilet and manual pump. I had the same issue a few years ago and just did the whole unit, a few bolts and a few screws and done.

Thanks for the info, I read about that, changing the whole toilet vs just the pump, but my bowl is in great shape, so I found the pump on Amazon for $50, cant beat that. BTW, found the original owners manual in my bag of "stuff" from the previous owner.

Jabsco Model 29090-2000

(even found the original owners warranty card.....wish that was still good!!)

Dealer called today, hoping to have the lower unit back together and painted by Friday....man I hope, Ive had this boat for a month now and only taken it off the trailer ONCE, and that was on 1 engine to pump out the head!!)
