window weather stripping/gasket 258 Journey

I replaced the seal around the windows in the cabin on our Journey.....I threw the old one away bc it seemed to be a match. It's back to leaking again. Called GW dealer and got no where ....Taylor Made is the window...tits on a bull. Any suggestions for something that works?

Sorry to dig up an old post, did you ever find a solution? I have the same issue on my Journey.

i never did...but i contacted mercer gasket company...they said if i take the old one off and take it to them, they can replicate it. in the meantime, i siliconed them closed to stop getting the leaks but can peel it off when im ready. im not sure where you live but you may be able to send it to them in the mail. i also found out thru marine max (gw dealer) that the length you have to buy to put an order in for it is crazy and not worth doing. tough situation.
