I have a marlin and when the wiper switch is in the off position starboard wiper remains on. I understand this is a motor not switch problem . I plan on disconnecting the wire on the motor to temp alleviate the problem . Here is the issue, disconnected the switch first and did not write down where the wires were to go on switch :bang switch has 4 terminals on each side . Help please

I believe you have a switch problem here. Sounds to me like it either got wet, or the internals on the switch are not working. How many wires were on the switch? Typically you have the switch being fed from the fuse holder, then going out to the wiper. Does your switch power two wipers? If the switch has an indicator light on it as well, there should be a ground that goes on one of the terminals, and it will get power internally from the wire feeding it. A meter will definitely help you out here.
