Yamaha 2 stroke water hole

On one om 250's I'm not getting much water coming out the blow hole. Thought it might be an impeller going bad but even when I'm flushing the motor not much comes out. It will spurt out a while then stop and kind of fill up and squirt some more. I cleaned out the tube with some weed whacker line so I don't think it's clogged. Should I worry?

that would bother me for sure.....if you cleaned out the pee hole and it still doesnt work, I'd have the water pump checked/changed and see if there is something blocking the tube heading up to the power head.....how long has it been since your last water pump change? I'm surprised you're not hearing an overheat alarm.

The lower tube was encrusted in salt. Cleaned and good to go!
