just purchased my express 305 and am very happy.
There is a ding in the F250 Yamaha cowling (2007) and I was able to fill it with glass
I am having trouble finding the right color at color rite on their web site
previous instructions on great grady said to go to the yamaha web site and get the part # for the cowling which I did. There is no corresponding part # on the color rite site... any thoughts ...thanks in advance

Yamaha sells the paint, there is a preferred vendor. Go to the website of a dealer or Yamaha's itself and you will get the info. There is clear coat as well.

I tried the spray and the touch-up paint and like everyone else says - the color match pretty much sux. Better than nothing though.

Take your cowl to a auto paint supply store. Let them use a optic gun to match the paint exactly. This is better as it takes into account paint fade, etc. Case solved. Plus, I am sure it is cheaper than Yamaha paint at a boat dealer.
