I own a 1998 208 Adventure, with a 1998 200 txrw saltwater series o/b.The speed gauge started to fade in some areas, and now is completely blank. Any remedies for this problem, and if I need one, where can I get a gauge at a reasonable price. Thanks Steve
 
I needed both the tach and the speedo, as they both did the same as your speedo. Contacted Troy Marine in Carrolton, VA, found him on THT. He got me 2 almost brand new units (faces were perfect) off a de-rig/re-rig for $385 for the both of them. Excellent dude, give him a call...
 
shop around I picked up 2 for $100. each, someone upgraded motors. Check all your local yamaha shops.
