Just picked the boat up from the 1,000 hour service. So far, the F250 has been flawless. Heading to the Bahamas so I hope that record stays intact!

Service cost was, coincidentally, also $1,000 and incuded the usual oil, filters, fluids, plugs, zincs (some in places I didn't know existed) and replacing the timing belt. Belt showed some wear, but was probably nowhere near failure.

I'm curoius to hear others experiences with hours and reliability of their F250(s)?

450 hours on mine and so far, knock on wood, it's been excellent. It gets flushed after every time it hits salt water, serviced every 100 hrs and Ringfree on every fill up.

Yamaha F250's

600 hours and counting on my 05's w/out any problems. I have had them serviced per the recommendations and do flush them unless I run them daily. So far so good.
