I hooked up my Yamaha yds software to my 2005 F250 to read engine hours. Got that and everything is great but one issue.
It throws a random intermittent code 123 for throttle valve malfunction. Under engine monitor it goes into red for throttle position 1 at 40 volts.
Anyone have a service manual for a F250 or know where throttle position 1 is?

Thanks mike.
If anyone needs a F250 service manual I’d love to pay it forward and email it to you. Such a great forum.

Can I make a guess that it is related to the TPS?
( although, the 40 volt reading has me stumped. Was it 40 millivolts or 4.0 volts?

I’m not gonna mess with something that’s not broke. Motor runs great. It resolved after restarting the laptop.

That's pretty funny. Rebooting the laptop got rid of the error reported by the ECU? That's a new one for me:)

Well I’m using a 2018 MacBook Air with windows 10 running on boot camp with a usb to type c adapter. It’s very finicky to get working but it works for a good two minutes before having to restart the windows bootcamp

It’s weird. Never heard a hiccup out this motor. Hooked up yds just for hours and y not yanno. Randomly for a split second it will show code 123 but not recorded in faults history. In monitor it shows tps 1 go to 40 volts for a split second. I have a video. Plus on the accelerator 1 and 2. Literally for a millisecond and idk y mess with something that’s not broken. I put almost 200 hours on it since I bought it and never noticed anything wrong. It doesn’t do it now so idk maybe it was from restart or just the time frame I had it hooked up again it didn’t do it.
