Yamaha Fuel Gauge

Proud new owner of an 2007 Advance 257. She has a 150 gallon fuel tank. The Yamaha fuel gauge has the double bar set up. Is it safe to assume that when one side starts flashing with one "blip" left it will automatically shift over to the second bar? Want to make sure that is the [progression and that I am NOT almost out of fuel. Apologies for the rookie question.

The gauge is programmable to a single or dual tanks. Check the manual for the gauge and it should tell you how to make it a simple single bar gauge. The programming manual is available online.

I think I see the gauge you are referring to, the 6YC information station.
wspitier is correct, it is apparently configured for two gas tanks.
Go to SETTINGS, INITIAL, Tank Set,
On that screen select tank 2, on the TYPE field which probably says 'Fuel', toggle to say' Unused'

Then select the Confirm button and Exit screen
