Been fortunate to have time in the last few months to get on the water and get the boat more dialed in. The weather hasn’t always been the best but the boat handles well (adding 200 lbs of sandbags in place of the porta potty helped a lot).

I put in 240 pounds of sand up front too. Made the ride change like night and day ;)

Beauties Holokai!

I remember someone posting that the dry hull weight changed to account for the 4 stroke engines (around 2006 for the Adventure, a year after my boat was made) so adding the weight helped the upsea ride and leveled out the hull on plane.

That is a great catch. I need to be fishing in Hawaii. I have been planning a trip to Hawaii for the first time once COVID-19 is under control. Was going to do some diving. Fishing just went on the list of activities.

What island and what sort of fishing are you looking to do?

Not sure yet. Got a trip coming through a time share I have. Sometime next year.
