Question about gas that is treated with STA-BIL. How long will it extend fuel before problems begin?

I topped up with non-ethanol fuel last October, added in the STA-BIL as well, and have not used my Seafarer since then. If I used that same gas this summer, will it still be OK? All the fuel in the tank is non-ethanol.

Don't want to get stranded on my first 2021 outing

Hoping someone has real world experience with non use for a nearly a year.

Enquiring minds wanna know. Thanks in advance for chiming in!

you've obviously never boated in the north :D

that's pretty much sop for our winter layups. mine comes out in October and back in April/May (last year end of June),

that's what the stabil is for. and we have 10% ethanol. i always burn down the layup gas before i put fresh fuel in. if there is anything in particular with your high heat area, i'm sure a local will chime in. good luck, ron

Yup, SOP in colder climates! ;)

You're good for AT LEAST a year - in reality, a couple years - even though the packaging may say "stabilizes for up to one year". But you're totally fine. Go boating and have fun! :)

Thanks Dennis,
Covid has put a damper on what is possible until now, but got my second vaccination today and ready-set-go!

Yep, I agree. You're fine, go boating. Mine sits more than it runs and I keep 360 in mine with no issues from extended layup.
