Any ideas for removing & cleaning the smaller fuel tank on a 1987 24’ offshore GW

If the tank is original and you are going to go through all the work to 'clean' it, you should just install a new tank. I am not familiar with that specific hull but some models require the main tank to be removed to allow the aux tank to be removed.

If the tank is OK and not leaking, why bother cleaning it?

Piece of cake to remove and replace forward tank on an Offshore. They do seem to last longer than the main but I would check it out thoroughly....it is 34 years old afterall. I would also replace all fuel lines as well.....filler line too. They can dry out and crack.

Thanks Uncle Joe I’m going to hold you to that piece of cake
